Business Applications

Business application development is my true professional passion. Working with businesses to define their needs, outline their processes, building the automated tools, and then helping them (and the systems) grow and expand is extremely satisfying. Most businesses start with "off-the-shelf" software and, for some, it fills their needs. But others find themselves frustrated because such software doesn't quite do things the way they want to, or doesn't have the features they, or their clients, need. This shortfall of capability can lead to time consuming manual work for employees, or in the worse case, even losing clients and market share to more agile competitors. Custom applications can totally differentiate a business in the marketplace by providing unique services and expanded capabilities. A well planned and designed business system quickly pays for itself in increased service and management efficiencies, customer and employee satisfaction, and most of all - new business visibility and opportunities. Custom applications can be phased-in over time which reduces initial buget impacts and also allows for development to focus on core - high impact areas - first.

Most of the applications I've built are secure/restricted sites which do not allow casual access.
